It's easy to get to know new folks at fanfest. After all, you all have something in common. That's the hardest step out the way.
Go to the round tables, go to the pub. It all helps.

I'm flying with Iceland air. booked everything through them.
It's not a fanfest package. Just gets me there at the right time.
If they're available to you, easyjet have recently announced they'll be flying to and from Iceland too.

This year I'm not taking an Iceland air fanfest package. Because last year I ended up taking a flight out on Sunday, at around 7 in the morning. After the Party at the top of the World. Which I left around 2 ish.
Never again. This time, Iceland's getting me for a week
